Community Involvement

 

Morrow Law Partners proudly supports the Omaha community by participating annually in the United Way of the Midlands Fund Drive.  The firm's members also are involved in various community activities:

Patrick J. Morrow III is a member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council and supports Creighton University as a member of the Jaybackers.  Mr. Morrow also lectures on estate and business planning.  He has prepared articles for charitable organizations on deferred giving arrangements.

Heather A. May supports Metropolitan Community College as part-time faculty teaching business law, legal research and writing, bankruptcy and creditor rights law, and estate planning.  She is the Program Council advisor for the University of Nebraska at Omaha chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha and the ZTA Race Representative serving as the Chairman of the Survivor's Recognition Area at the Race for the Cure, part of Susan G. Komen For the Cure.
Heather also serves as chairman of the Pink & Crystal Ball that benefits the Zeta Foundation which promotes breast cancer awareness and education. Heather is the Race Representative, Service Chair and Fundraising Chair for the Omaha Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Charles R. Walker is also involved in the Prescott, Arizona community by serving as Past-President (2002-2004) on the Board and Executive Committee of the Yavapai College Foundation Board, Vice-Chairman of the Summit Bank Board of Directors.  Mr. Walker also serves as the Chair of the Spiritual Aims and Assistant Chair of the Scholarship Committee for the Kiwanis in Prescott.  He also currently serves on the Board of the Prescott Christian School Scholarship Foundation. Mr. Walker is also a Lifetime Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation.
