What is probate?
Probate is a court process used to determine the validity or invalidity of a Will and to appoint an executor (personal representative) to carry out the terms of the Will. If the decedent passed away without a Will, or if the probate court determines the Will is invalid, an administrator will be appointed. Further, the decedent's property is distributed according to state laws. In partnership with our estate planning services, we provide complete representation to all involved in the probate process.
